Competitive Class Entries

Portishead Flower Show, competitive classesAt the core of the Show are the competitive classes and we have over 300 of these for flowers, vegetables, soft fruits, floral art, photographs, cookery and wine, handicrafts and a host of children’s classes.

 

The General Secretary of the Society can provide you with a copy of hints and tips on showing and displaying your flowers and vegetables for those of you who may be entering for the first time.

 

Full details of the various classes are available in the Show schedules which are available from a number of outlets in Portishead including: Carey’s, Morgan Westley, The White Cot, Village Quarter Post Office, Redcliffe Hair and Beauty. Schedules also available from Brackenwood Garden Centre, Abbots Leigh, Bristol.


If you do not live in the Portishead area and wish to enter please contact the Secretary via email on info@portisheadflowershow.com, who will be able to provide a PDF copy.  PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL PHOTOGRAPHY, POEM and HANDWRITING EXHIBITS must be handed in with the ENTRY FORM BY 7.00 PM ON THE MONDAY PRECEDING THE SHOW. 


Entry forms must be completed and submitted by the Exhibitor and handed in at the FOLK HALL, HIGH STREET, PORTISHEAD (side entrance) or to the FLOWER SHOW FIELD OFFICE, Clevedon Road, or as a POSTAL ENTRY to Mrs J. Pagano, 9 Denny View, Portishead, BS20 8BS OR Miss Elizabeth Coles, 381 Nore Road, Portishead.  No later than the TUESDAY BEFORE THE SHOW.

 

OFFICE HOURS at the Folk Hall are on the following days immediately before the Show - SATURDAY 10am till 1pm, MONDAY 10am till 7pm and TUESDAY 10am till 7pm. Entries can also be taken to the Flower Show Field on the Monday and Tuesday. Late entries NOT accepted.
